
Adult Education has some great offerings to enlighten your spiritual practice in September. Offered at 9 a.m. on Sunday mornings in the Wheeler Room.
September 10: the Working Group on Indigenous Relations will do a session, “Supporting Indigenous children and families across the generations.” Join members of the Working Group on Indigenous Relations for an active exploration of how nonIndigenous allies can support the intergenerational transfer of cultural practices within thriving Indigenous communities.
September 17: Pastor JT will present on Psychedelic Renaissance Spirituality (Plants & Ritual)
September 24: Nightingale with Housing Security (Social Justice & Witness)
In October, we will have a reading group exploring civil rights inspirations found in Reverend Dr. Howard Thurman’s book Jesus and the Disinherited. We are also exploring offering classes on Parenting Needs & Health Care & Faith. Watch for the news as we return to our program year and learn ways to grow our faith and our faith practices.
