We hope you will join us this evening at 6 p.m. for a fun and meaningful time of connection and community. All are welcome!

Bring your own picnic dinner and we will gather to eat and chat at 6 p.m. (meet on our back lawn outside the atrium). Stay for an outdoor showing of the movie “Toy Story” for children/youth, while parents, grandparents, youth mentors, attend a session on empowering our young people, featuring Rev. Jim Bergquist from 6:30-8 p.m. Parents are welcome to attend the conversation and leave their children to enjoy the outdoor movie.

Thou Mayest: Empowering Young People with Tools to Navigate a Complex World, facilitated by Rev. Jim Bergquist

Are you a parent or grandparent (or friend/mentor/teacher to someone young)? This session will explore best practices in wellness, resilience, self-reliance, decision-making, empathy, creative thinking, and more. With storytelling, video, personal reflection, and a little John Steinbeck, there will be something for everyone. This is a great opportunity for community building as well!

RSVP not required, but appreciated! markl@fcceugene.org
