First Congregational Church is sponsoring a booth at the Eugene-Springfield Pride Festival and we need your help.
When: August 13, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Where: Alton Baker Park
Staff the FCC Booth (2 people per shift)
10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (includes booth prep)
12:30 – 2:30 p.m.
2:30 – 4:30 p.m.
4:30 – 6 p.m. (includes packing away supplies and taking home)
Donate cookies (either drop off at the church on Friday, August 12 between 9 a.m. to noon or bring to the Festival)

Support the Pride Festival by being a presence
Pride Festival organizers are asking for faith-community volunteers to be a visual presence at the entrance to the Festival. In the past, there have been people there with hate-filled signs. For this volunteer opportunity, you are asked to bring a sign with an affirming message and simply show up for an hour shift to counter any hate-filled messages. Pride organizers will give you more information.
