A panel of people working in the field shared their knowledge and heartfelt insight on how homelessness impacts the education of the children in our community. Our congregation continues to learn more about the many sides of homelessness, and ultimately how we can make a difference.
Speakers: Deborah Dailey, the McKinney-Vento Coordinator for Homeless Children for Eugene schools, her assistant Becca Larson, who works with unaccompanied minors, Jenny Vondrachek a 30-year classroom teacher, and William Wise, former director of St. Vincent de Paul’s First Place Family Center.
Even if you missed the panel discussion, you too can learn more about the subject through the provided video.
