May is Mental Health Awareness Month.  All are invited to join an online Facebook book group discussion; we will read Blessed Are the Crazy: Breaking the Silence About Mental Illness, Family and Church, by Sarah Griffith Lund, a UCC minister. The discussions begin May 22! You can order the book online. We have a couple of copies for purchase or for lending. This is a casual discussion, join anytime. There will be an in-person discussion on Wednesday, May 31, at 3 p.m.

It is estimated that more than one in five U.S. adults (57.8 million) lived with a mental health diagnosis in 2021. The UCC Mental Health Network reports that faith communities can make it easier for people to seek help for mental health conditions.

About FCC’s online book club: Please join us in a casual, monthly book discussion based on books that represent a current mission focus. Read books at your own pace and join in on the discussion anytime. Helpful facilitators will encourage insightful thought-provoking discussions in this informal setting.
