Our new gathering time on Saturday evenings from 5 – 7:30 p.m. has been fantastic! We will continue hosting these gatherings once a month, with our next gathering planned for Saturday, February 25 (stay tuned for more details!). All middle school and high school youth are welcome to attend — and also encouraged to bring friends!

We had over 20 youth at our January gathering, including 5 young people who experienced youth group for the first time. Thank you to everyone for getting the word out and for showing up – you are making a difference! We are building on our strong community of young adults at FCC and looking forward to the continued growth and strengthening of our group dynamic.

We will also begin looking towards upcoming service opportunities. Our next service project at Turtle Flats Restoration Area is being planned for Saturday, February 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friends of Buford Park has just received 9,000 native plant species this month and they need to be planted! We hope all generations will join us at Glassbar Island / Turtle Flats, so we can help get these plants into the ground!

Please join us for any and all of these wonderful opportunities – and don’t miss our monthly pizza party with games and fellowship on February 25. Stay tuned as well for the possibility of a Willamette Pass skiing and snowboarding day.

Grace and Peace be with you and your loved ones!
