A new era is dawning in our children’s programs here at FCC and we need your help. We are seeking individuals to volunteer for one hour per month in our childcare for children ages 0-4 years old and in our Kids Community for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade. This is a chance for the adults of our congregation to build meaningful, intergenerational relationships with the children of our church; to play, to laugh, to explore with them and to help our children build positive associations with church and a deeper connection to their church family. No expertise or outside lesson planning or prepping is necessary, we are simply seeking people who enjoy children and are eager to engage. COVID vaccination and background check are required for both positions. Both opportunities take place during worship.

Childcare: Adult volunteers will greet children (ages 0-4) and parents, help children settle in, play and read with children and assist with clean up. Volunteers will commit to one Sunday per month (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th) from January through June.

Kids Community: Adult volunteers will greet kids (kindergarten through 5th grade) and parents, assist with games, crafts, and activities, interact and play with the children, and assist with clean up. No outside planning or prep time will be required as Gretchen will plan and all activities and prep all materials. Volunteers are asked to commit to one Sunday per month (2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th) through June.
