First Congregational Church now has a banner that can to be taken to community events like the Martin Luther King March, the Pride Festival or upcoming Palm Sunday Pathway. (For the banner to represent our church, the event must be approved by the Social Justice committee and either the Senior Pastor or the Moderator, and be attended by at least 5 FCC members).

Social Justice has rejoined Health Care for All Oregonians (HCAO), a group that advocates for health care equity at the Oregon legislature. We also sent our first donation of the year, $1,250, to the Interfaith Food Hub. If you have ideas for The Box collection for the month of April or May, we’d like to hear from you.
