Jennie Sherlock and Amy Rowland are offering to facilitate an Our Whole Lives class for first graders one day a week after school this spring, starting in April and continuing through May. Our Whole Lives (OWL) is a comprehensive sexuality education curriculum for kindergarteners through older adults co-created by The United Church of Christ and The Unitarian Universalist Association.

At the first grade level we use stories, conversation, and art and movement to give children space to explore together how amazing their bodies are, body boundaries, how special families are and all the different ways families can look, how babies begin and the different ways they come into the world as well as the different ways babies come into families.

If you are interested in this class for your first grader, please reach out to Jennie Sherlock. This class is open to FCC member families as well as their friends. We look forward to hearing from you!
