This coming Sunday we will celebrate Pentecost—the birth of the Christian Church and the coming of the Holy Spirit to the disciples. You are invited to wear red, symbolizing the tongues of fire that rested upon the disciples as a sign of the Spirit’s presence.

During worship, we will also celebrate the baptism of two of our new members. If you have not been baptized and would like to explore baptism, please contact Pastor Eric at erice@fcceugene.org. He will hold an informational meeting for those interested.

Additionally, for those who have already been baptized, there will be an opportunity at the end of the service to reaffirm your baptism and renew your openness to the Spirit’s movement in your life.

Wear red. Bring joy. Expect the Spirit.
