Deep gratitude to Interfaith Earthkeepers, our FCC Green Team, ’Ohana Youth and all of our people who came out during Earth Week to plant natives and remove invasives at Turtle Flats (March 23 and April 20). We repaired the foot bridge over the creek, removed Himalayan blackberry, teasel, and scotch broom while also planting native species such as bleeding hearts and delphinium.

Our ongoing work is making a significant impact at the confluence of the Middle and Coast Fork Willamette Rivers, as we are seeing native fish and wildlife return to this habitat.

Many thanks to all in our community for your ongoing support of Earth Stewardship… stay tuned for more opportunities at Turtle Flats this summer!
